Wow! July was a busy month for music ministry and spiritual growth, filled with moments of joy and connection that I will cherish for a long time. I had the incredible opportunity to sing and minister in various settings, each one unique and inspiring. One of the highlights was performing at an Independence Day parade in my hometown of Martinsville, Indiana, where the energy of the crowd and the patriotic atmosphere fueled my spirit as I shared uplifting music alongside my church family and friends.
Additionally, I participated in an outdoor Spirit Street Fest at my home church, Gateway Tabernacle, also located in my hometown of Martinsville, Indiana, which allowed me to engage with the community and spread positivity through my songs, as well as play my keyboard and sing background vocals for other performers, and bands. It was heartwarming to see families and friends come together, creating lasting memories while celebrating faith and music. Another memorable event was the VBS Glow party concert at my church with my retro Christian rock band, Worship Warriors to kick-off Gateway’s 2026 VBS, “Shine Like Jesus VBS”. I also performed a few of my Lisacarriemarie songs for the youth during the concert. The kids’ excitement and energy were infectious, and it was a joy to lead them in worship through fun and engaging performances.
I also had the chance to minister at a semi-truck garage in Petersburg, Indiana, which was a unique setting that brought together individuals from different walks of life. It felt amazing to create an atmosphere of praise and worship in such an unconventional location before Pastor Eric Moore of Newsong Church in Cherokee, North Carolina got up to speak during the Miracles & Healings service. On Wednesday evenings, I joined members from Gateway Tabernacle Church for a nursing home ministry hymn sing at the Waters of Martinsville, Indiana, where we brought hope and joy to residents through beloved hymns, scriptures, prayer and personal testimonies.
One exciting development this month was having my songs and testimony aired on three radio stations: Rebel Radio (a global multi-genre internet radio station based out of Cairo, Egypt with DJ’s Steve & Angela), Big Storm Radio (a global internet radio show hosted on SoundSphere Radio which is based out of Austin, Texas with DJ Stephen Jones), and DUBBLPOP WORSHIP ZONE (a global internet radio station based out of Meriden, Connecticut with DJ Dave LeGates). This exposure has opened new avenues for sharing my faith and music with a wider audience, and I am grateful for every opportunity it brings.
